On the Processes tab in Task Manager, there’s a button called “Show processes from all users” which will re-open Task Manager for the purpose of showing all the processes, which can be annoying if you need to do it a lot.

Create the Task Manager Shortcut

Simply right-click on the desktop or elsewhere, and then choose New \ Shortcut from the menu.

Then add the following command to the shortcut location box:

taskmgr.exe

After you’ve added the command, go to the next screen and give the shortcut a meaningful name…in this example, I chose “Task Manager (All Users)” as the name because it seemed descriptive enough.

Now right-click on the shortcut and open up Properties, where you can add a shortcut key if you’d like

Note: The shortcut needs to be on the desktop or in the Start Menu for this to work.

The most important step: Click the Advanced button and check the “Run as administrator” checkbox.

When you select the Precision Booster item from the list, you’ll get this dialog to configure how you want the feature to work. I chose to make the mouse really slow, and to use the button as a Toggle instead of having to hold the button down.

If you only want to use the Precision Booster in a single application, check the box for “Enable program-specific settings” and then click on the Settings button.

You can add an application to the list by clicking the Add button and finding the executable on your hard drive, then you can customize the settings for that particular application.

Slow Down the Mouse Pointer System-Wide

If the mouse moves too fast for you, you can always slow down the mouse pointer by opening the Mouse Properties window in Control Panel (either type Mouse into the search box or look in the Hardware section).

On the Pointer Options tab you should see the “Enhance pointer precision”, which should be turned on if it isn’t.

Now right-click on the Menu Bar and choose Classic Explorer Bar. You will see the Classic Bar to the right of Explorer.
